New Delhi: Even before the year draws to a close, the Indian film industry has witnessed an unprecedented box-office surge in 2025. With over 1,500 films released across multiple Indian languages, only a select few managed to dominate ticket sales nationwide and overseas.

According to data from Sacnilk, 1,519 films released in 2025 have collectively earned ₹12,291.27 crore worldwide. Notably, the top 10 highest-grossing films alone contributed ₹4,443.42 crore, accounting for more than one-third of the total box-office revenue so far. Among these, Dhurandhar, currently ranked third, continues its strong theatrical run and is widely expected to climb higher in the coming weeks.

2. Chhaava
